A friend of mine has a 2007 1.4 16V Petrol Clio and its started to throw the orange spanner on on the dash and it says "check injection". It then revs itself to 2500rpm and wont rev any higher when the accelerator is pushed. It still revs when the brake is pushed as well. Any ideas what could be wrong???

Could be something on the throttle body/pedal or wiring i rekon.

Thats what her father thought as well. He bought a 2nd hand throttle body and fitted it but it did the same again but it could have been faulty as well. It has started to throw up the "check emissions " fault now as well

Get it on the clip or borrow an rstuner from someone and see what it says.

check if its got resisted spark plugs fitted , can be caused by interferance from wrong plugs fitted !
