okay, spoke to my contact tony at the waterside inn, he's more than happy to host our xmas do at his pub (the one we had in sept with the burger stall, etc... obviously the date is in the title but i'm trying to work out what time would be best... now as they'll probably be 30/40 of us it could be a logistical nightmare, tony has said either midday or 5.30ish...

i know it will be dark but it gives us a chance to chill, etc. the earlier gives the option to make more of a day of it but have to eat early as... i've put a poll up anyway that will run till 18th nov to get ideas from ya'll.



the date is going to be as above, if people cant make it theres little we can do really, i'm putting the time to organise this with chris and tony and i struggle to do my shoelaces so yep, 12th dec.

anyone that came to the last waterside meet knows its a safe, friendly pub with alot of car spaces and alot of room inside. Leigh is ten minutes from manchester city centre and 5 from the M6 (RS speed, lbrench allow another 15 mins) via the east lancs road, its close to lpool and obviously those travelling know that the M6 links alot of the country.


i'm not going to ask for definates as i know people may have to drop out but tony will reserve an area for 40 people in the pub and any extra can just sit around its easy enough, the cars will be guarded and an xmas theme put together...

tony has priced the xmas carvery at £5.99, i sh1t you not its bang on too. all top drawer stuff. He has also said that for a £1 extra guests can have a soup to start or a dessert that he will get nearer the time and relay to me... great value for the norfbest.

so it's like a tenner for an xmas do really... cant go wrong, i'll add infor as we go along but hope you can all make it and thanks for everyone turning up to KKs on sunday, we showed the yanks and the VXR boys how its done.

if you plan on coming state so i can get some form of numbers and we'll go from there.

PS: They'll be a little awards ceremony on the day, avoid if you cant accept banter... and theres BIG plans for the new year including a wales run, charity car show and an American style 'scene' short film we wanna put together mocking ourselves of course

Yeah he was dude, he turned up later on after most people had gone lol. Was chatting to him for over an hour and need to pick his brains about charger related tomfoolery as well as possibly buying his Megane :)

right im ringing tony this evening, we are booked in the exact time i'l confirm. there is 30 here and 10 off meganesport. now i imagine one or two wont eat, but everyone that does, i've told him to get the stock and aboit of nice soup and desserts in.



prices again i'll confirm but he'll sort us all out n get us a nice area.



me, sy and a few others will be putrid though so no shouting.
