Saw this link on the RS forum, the mail has published that BBC is not renewing Legards contract and Brundle and Coulthard are working in the commentary box next season

Though nothing published by the BBC as yet!

Got to be good news though, a very poor commentator, for ever making errors with team mates names etc, basic stuff:cursing:, where Brundle is mint IMO:bowdown:

The bloke was never really in tune with Brundle. It didn't gel.

You can tell he would be more at home knocking out a radio commentary.

Great news could'nt stand legard

Of course I much preffered him to James Allen (naturally), but I always felt Legard was still in Five Live mode when he was commentating.

I agree Crofty would have been top choice :yes: Still find it odd that the bbc haven't published anything on their website though.

I didnt find him that bad - but maybe thats because james allen was really terrible, honestly, what where itv thinking with him.

Its that jake fella i find irritating. Always trying to use metaphors and make things sound so dramatic - knob.

Coultard + Brundle sounds like a good combo though, they should deffo give that a go.

Would prefer to listen to Anthony Davidson.

Eddie Irvine makes me blow hot and cold. Sometimes he's funny as ****, other times he's just an irritating little ****...

Thank god for that, Legard was a bit of a tw*t. Crofty or Ant Davidson would have been better than DC I think, but DC does have a lot of technical knowledge. A big improvement anyhow!
