Hi,
Anyone else got small rust spots on their arse end?? I assume its coming form the exhaust system?
I presume there is not a lot you can do about it?

have you got any pictures??
your car can't be old enough for rust yet surely? dont they have a warranty on the paintwork, i must admit tho i have noticed small swirls in the cold weather that form on the rear of the car in line above the exhausts, but they just wipe clean.
i'd pop into your local dealer and have a word sharpish.

Do you live or park anywhere near a rail track as mine is similar and has been the same with my last few cars, if you look closely you see that it is some sort of filing that is rusting on the car and not the actual car itself!!
Even if you leave it, it wont get any worse but I am sure that you will find that is the problem

Had the same get some Meguirs Detailing Clay that will get rid of them ...
Just tiny bits of metal from the road that stick to the arse end ...

I does sound likely that its not the actual car that is rusty!!
I know French motors aren't renound for their build quality but having owned 4 Renaults ranging from 1993 to 2006 I've never had rust on any of them! :D
