is the club having a club stand at trax ? would any one else be interested in this ?

I have been talking with Dave the last day or so about a Trax club stand. We are looking to do another joint stand with 197.net and megansport.net.

I have emailed Trax today to confirm this is ok to do. And made sure both 197.net and yourselfs are happy to do so and both Dave and Jase are fine with this. As soon as i have a responce from Trax i will update this thread.

I have just spoken with a lady from Trax. We can have the joint stand but i need all payments by 31st July thats sunday!

To join the Twingo133.net, Meganesport.net and Clio197.net on stand tickets will cost £17 per person this will cover the price of a ticket for entry and a car pass. This will also cover the cost of posting the ticket onto yourself first class recorded as all tickets will be sent to me.

Yes as the form and payment is now in the post box. But i have ordered a few more club passes so can always pay on the gate and ill post a club pass to you.

also me and the otherhalf are camping the night before with our 2 meganes, its the campsite oppisite silverstones main entrance anyone is welcome to join, we campt it last year i think it was £12 for car and tent, they have toilets and a outside tap if you need to wash your cars too

Yeah some of the track-time for the general public was just scary. Sat down at Becketts and watched a convertible M3 spin about 6 times. Just a big accident waiting to happen!

The pro BDC guys were impressive though.

yes one of the two main offenders, very near misses at times, how the didnt get black flagged, trying to drift on a very sliipy public day when he clearly was out of his abilaty, shocking, most days make a point of saying no deliberate drifting, cars are some folks pride a joy, like most of us here, if your car got written off due to a nobb ud be gutted, felt sorry for the others around him.

Trouble was, there was no official marshalling, hence nobody to dole out any punishment. At one point, through Becketts there were 3 abreast, one of them being completely sideways and drifting on full boost. Amazing that some poor bugger didn't get mopped up to be honest.

pretty much sums the track time up really. the silverstone instructors giving hot laps IMO should be having a word with themselves now as two of them overtaking a Saxo one either side at the same time approaching a bend not good.

Loads out on track at a time, plus the Silverstone 370Z's and GTR's, Lotus drivers, a few drift cars mixed in. Not a good mix when you add that to a load of poorly briefed, novice track drivers.............................
