Anyone on here that have made the move from 172 cup to megane, i would love to hear from, anyway heres me saying hello, looks like a great forum!

How are the cars different, performance wise i mean, although on paper theres not much in, but what about real world scenarios, i just like the idea that there more easily modded compared to your NA engines.

I changed my 172 for a Megane. Would deffo recomend it, it is a totally different drive.
Try to arrange a test drive ASAP and you will find out. :D
meggerman 23-10-2006, 11:05:41 i used to own a 172MKII (ice silver) and a 172cup which i sold for my meg225cup which ive ordered cant tell you as of yet but should hopefully not be too long now before i have it in my posesstion, when i do il compare and give you some feedback mate
browny 23-10-2006, 14:09:18 Welcome t site, ive not owned a 172 but drove a cup, before i got the 225, and i thought it handled pretty well, till i got the 225, handlings better IMO, and the power delivery is alot different, you've got constant power with the 225, were i found 172 didnt come till in higher revs
Im sure you'll hake the right decision
