Got my car from peterboro which is a good 3 hours from me. Took the car for the first service was a good garage and had no issues they sorted everything at the time but It's just to far to travel. Anyone know any good dealers around the north Yorkshire area? Scarborough is crap. Not worth the time . they were hopeless when I wanted warrenty work doing and just claimed there wasn't anything wrong..

SO the question is. Where have you had the best experience from a dealer? And any close to north Yorkshire area. Wanting to know for future reference Thank you.

To be honest mate Smiths at Peterborough are a good bet. I live about an hour away from peterborough and for me its worth the effort. My local dealer is hopeless.

The service manager, Mark, is very professional and I thought they did a great job with my 250.

Yea they were very good and helped me with any problems only thing is when I need a few bits lookin at like now its abit of a drive for me. Def go back to. Them for servicing but It's just little warrenty work. GOod thing with peterboro is that they have sold the cars so they have knowledge about them. Dealer where I am from haven't sold any or even looked into them

There is also Charltons of Boroughbridge... Although only small they were very helpful when I test drove a yellow 250 before buying my current car. Some great roads around there too...

Service at Harrogate seems ok - mines booked in to have a new passenger side Recaro subframe fitted. Despite buying from Wakefield, Harrogate helped identify the rattle location, ordered the part (3 week back order from France) and have it booked back in on Monday for fitting.

Gaz, probably a bit further north than you'd like but I got my RS250 from Benfield in Newcastle and they have been excellent so far and a recognised RS specialist

Harrats pontefract or Wakefield are both really good, just look on Renaultsport and they are getting great reviews from the Yorkshire possie.

If you are not after a RS dealer then Riverside at seamer are ace. Had all my services and my MOT done there. I won't take my car anywhere else.
