Anybody know if the lights on my wifes Mini One can be converted easily to Xenons as they dont compare with the brightness of the Meg.

Also if they can,any recommendations where to get them.

Cheers

Easy to do mate, mini's use H7 bulbs, so you can either buy them from various car accessory sites, or good old ebay, fitting is pretty simple as getting to the back of the mini lights is pretty easy.

if you mean proper Xenons, then there is no easy way of getting washers for the lights though so technically illegal isn't it?

have a look on www.mini2.com

some have retrofitted the oem xenons but they had problems with the auto levelling, washers, ballast etc.

Mini's come with light washers as standard don't they?

Mot test stations don't test auto levelling.

Ballast shouldn't have any problems as thats basically a primer that gives the bulb the ooooompf to start up.

Hmmm, think they could be retro fitted though without too many problems.
