I have just looked on the Renaultsport website and my absolute honest opinion of the new megane is its GRIM! I really think they have made it look like a family hatch and not a sport hot hatch like whats acctually under the bonnet. However I do like the interior and would very much like to get hold of the dials, stainless dash and new led's for the dash.

The F1 is even worse....I was woried that I had bought a Trophy to soon and lost out by not waiting for the F1.....glad I didnt...black alloys and bright blue paint...come on....please dont tell me that was the british designers idea!!!! LOL

you got the balls to say it i never :wink: but i 100% agree, i was unsure on the facelift but now iv looked at the F1 over a few times its not some thing i would look at trading mine in for, ( not likeing the happy front and the brighter dash) but each to there own. and if you got a silver 225 then all the better as they not doing silver any more. but knowing renault that will change.

I agree they seem to have dummed down the looks of the new 225, not sure why as the super agressive front end is the best bit of the car I rekon, maybe they are trying to appeal to a broader market or something. I do like the f1 though its not really to my taste but its ballsey and its something only renault would do. The lairy paint/wheels combo and the graphics are something you wouldnt see the likes of Seat or vauxhall try. I think its also good that they seem to be using the megane 225 now as the flagship of the renaultsport range now the clio v6 is gone. Would I trade mine in for one? No chance! Maybe when they do a full mk2 225 I would consider it but really the facelift is not that different to the current one

Maybe Renault have messed up a little by not including a Silver or Grey in the new line up.

every car manufacturere insists on giving all their cars the same face/look ????? why ???? it means all cars look the same.
the MKI looks proper aggresive, the MKII looks like a new clio !

I think they need some side skirts too look a bit un dressed.
