Bloke at work claims he's got 275bhp at the wheels of his modded WRX.
Bearing in mind it's 4WD which are supposed to suffer bigger translosses, am I right to assume he must have had a huge reading at the fly? :?
We're losing 30 - 40 horses on a FWD set-up, so what's he losing? :shock:

the guys at the racing line had an evo 8 there yesterday, auto box and 4wd with a remap and it only had 187bhp at the wheels :shock: , thats less than jamies stock 225 with 191bhp.
auto 4wds loose massive amounts,

Possible. Remember WRC had a Mitsi in the day before us that put out 700bhp.. At the fly I'm guessing though!

I can tell you if he is telling the truth, 275bhp at the wheels equates to 350/360bhp at the fly
both my imprezas suffered 70-75bhp losses

He's gonna have to make 335bhp at the fly, assuming Royal Purple or similar **** thin lubrication in the box and diffs or 345bhp+ assuming standard oils etc. in the drivetrain to clock 275bhp at the wheels.
What year is it? For some that's achievable relatively cheaply, for others it's a lot of work.
Like Cossies theres no such thing as an older standard Impreza or Evo but even so he's going some to clock those figures :lol:
