I fitted an ITG panel filter. Umm...sound, couldn't really notice much as the engines quite loud! Bit more responsive though on the pedal. But thats only a panel filter.

Which IK are you thinking about getting? I haven't seen any for the 1.9.

from what I've been told there isn't one for the dci as it wouldn't work on a diesel, think basset can tell you more, Andy?

you can use a induction kit on a derv. i'd recommend just using a aftermarket panel filter. i had a Green Cotton one on my Dci. made a very very slight difference to noise and made it a bit more responsive.

you wouldnt get a petrol induction type sound on a diesel with an IK. its just made the engine sound louder!

How much is a panel filter roughly?

this is the one i had. i think it was around the £40 mark http://www.potn.co.uk/-_c5206_3077_7421_7452_p1515969.htm

this is the one that ****ie has http://www.k-tecracing.com/show_product.asp?id=1491

im pretty sure that the IK made for the 1.6,2.0 and even 225 meggys would fit the 1.9dcis as they have all the same air boxes.
