....put a call into renault today to get a drive in the R26, as looking to upgrade, on their dedicated test drive number. Usual Renault HO rubbish. First I was told it was'nt available to buy yet only order, so when I pointed out that deliveries started 1st March, he then said Renault had no idea which dealers had them and that I should ring round.

Told him that I was also looking at the ST, VXR, and GTI, and that they had been only too helpful to get me out in their cars, but Renault just don't seem to care.

If only the car was'nt just so great, I would bin the idiots tomorrow....rough with the smooth....

Anyone know of a dealer in sussex that has one before I get on the phone? Cheers all.

I think there might be a few about, where they are, some members might be able to help. I know ive struggled to test drive one.

Tried in Ashford, Kent today too. There isn't one here or in Canterbury Renault, and won't be for about 8 weeks!!

They had a Megane Cup in, in the blue I want, but after a R26 for many reasons, so need to see/drive one!

Tates Renault in Hollingbury, Brighton have one, I test drove it a few weeks ago.

Most dealers don't seem to be getting demo R26's now word has spread. Try posting on renaultsport.co.uk, a lot of dealers visit there one may be able to help you.

yeah dartford one was gone today wen i drove past, and orpington did not even give me the time of day wen i went there looking to buy, and the yellow one they got was not ready to be put on the road wen i was there, might be now tho, but it was up for £21,500 i think. sod that,
