Come to think of it, i don't know anyone who has ordered an R26 from BMNC.

ive ordered one in black with decal delete, delays on the R26 though.

There is everywhere. I ordered mine a month ago and its not due till May.

quicker then mine, been waiting longer the a month and not due until may :crying:

I ordered mine from BMNC on the 2nd Jan in Black (with decals/xenons/spare wheel) and it is expected to arrive at the dealer (to then be delivered to me) on April 18th...

It was originally estimated to arrive in mid March but there are delays on the R26 and I believe its down to the Recaro seats...

So does that mean BMNC cars are registered as imports or not? I'm confused...

I know it doesn't take much.

ie. When the car gets delivered to a Renault dealer in the UK it's stamped as a UK car and I don't need to declare it for insurance purposes...

They are UK spec and registered cars supplied by a UK Renault dealer, need I say more?

the cars are uk spec, so they come with the full 2 yr warranty on them, and the cars are also registered aswell, so in affect you do become the second owner,

also touching on the delay topic i dont know anyones thats bin delayed build wise, only renaults poxy delivery service/collection wen the cars are in this country..

I went to the dealers yesterday to choose my number plate. I was told that the only delays there are at the min is that the people at the french port are on strike. My car wasnt delayed its on time and mine was in the middle of it when it all started.

If you buy from a dealer that is owned by Reno uk I think you may get the full 3 years Renault Warrenty. Thats what I was told anyway by some one in Reno.

Can I just ask one thing... why are the cars very reasonably priced via BMNC? Surely there's a catch (apart from being the 2nd registered owner)?

No catch that i'm aware of. On their website they document that cars are UK sourced UK spec cars with full 36 month warranty and built to your spec (which I have found to be the case). Although yet to take delivery of my car (R26 in black with xenons, decals and spare wheel) I have found their service to be excellent so far.

I have heard good things from people who have ordered their Megane 225's through the site so have no reason to believe that the excellent service won't continue for my order.

Can't wait for the car to arrive, jumping up from a 1.2 16V Clio, its going to be a hell of a time!!

deary me--1.2 clio to lsd'd R26--you take it easy with that throttle lift mid bend for a while fella....Seriously im not patronising you or anything but take your time with the handling and get used to it for a while(unless you have had powerful FWD cars before then tell me to shut it ) and you will have lots of fun..

I was advised delays on orders because of parts, mine was due 2/3 week of april, now delayed to may 4th, now may 10th?

ordered mine early feb, we will see what date comes next.

But must say im still looking forward to taking delivery of the car, the car does come with 3 year warranty.... nothing to worry about with regards to bmnc discount on price.

Went to see the dealer yesterday and is still saying mine is ok for the 19th april as originally stated at ordering......Ordered mine mid Feb
