come across a corolla t sport facelift on an 04 plate with 25k miles for 8,999... now then, do i go for it or do i stick with the punto?

tbh, bit sick of this now, i just want another car that will be cheaper than the meg

pro's and cons:

punto pros:

it's new, i will be the first owner and will have very low delivery mileage only
3 years warrenty
looks good
diesel... better mpg
insurance group 6
lower tax band

cons:

fix it again tony i.e. will it spend more time at the garage than in my
ownership?
telling people you own a fiat punto :eek:
will lose mega mega depreciation as all new cars do let alone it being a fiat
any more?

cts pros:

toyota? pretty reliable i reckon?
it's already lost most of it depreciation
looks good - facelift version which looks better than pre facelift
still got half decent performance
cheaper monthly payments than the punto

cons:

its out of warrenty
2 previous owners
mpg won't be as good as the diesel punto
£205 tax now...
25k mileage

You know my point of view, I like the GP and think you should stick with it. IMO Fiat's image has improved and I think they are making interesting cars which get good reviews.
Also, IMHO, the Corolla T-Sport is pants :D

cts is group 14 insurance, so gonne be cheaper than the megane, but not as much as the punto obviously.

the corolla is crap mate if it was any good they would of sold more! they look pretty boring too tbh.
they couldnt even shift em when they fitted the super charger!!!

decided that i'm gonna stick with the punto, i know it will be cheaper than the meggy and anything else i have considered... which is the whole point of me swapping and i will just have to put up with it if it goes wrong. nevermind, just one of them things isn't it!
