Suprisingly with the JVC headunit I had in the 5 and now in the Clio the standard speakers sounded ok. But since getting that my new back box on, I've found that I've been cranking it a bit louder and hence one of the rear 4" speakers went all farty.

So off I trot to Motorworld in Caterham and pick up a set of 4" JBL co-axial speakers. Knowing one of the guys in there I got a discount so all in £26. Lovely!!!

Out with the old. I mean seriously, the stock speakers look like I made them -

In with the new -

Also fitted into the same little pods the standard ones were in so you'd never know they were there.

Means I can fade the sound back and its nice and sharp. Not exactly rumbling my bum grapes off but a bit noisier.

You not like my bum grapes?? hahahahaha.

Best bit is coz I'm fitting all the stuff myself, I can take it off when I get rid. Chances are though, I'll drive the little chap into the ground. :D :D

Tell me about it mate.

People have said 'Why don't you do more to the Megane'. But the things that I'd want to do ie Re-map, Springs, Exhaust etc aren't cheap. Its easier to spare the odd £20 here or £30 there for stuff on the Clio. :D :D

Also I'm more inclined to do it myself anyway.
