Your choice mate! After seeing Andy's I really like them but......

I also really like the right style oval's.

it is your choice mate, rounds will be easier to fit and ovals can be a pain in the ass if you have not got the right size out let on the back,

sure you will make you maind up wen the car is on the ramps

they cant do it so he says,

i had alot of trouble finding places to do this on my 225s in the past, but lucky in the end for me i found a place to do it.

keep trying alex but i suggest just cut out the back box, will look stock but sound wicked,

Ok back home now.....

Heres the plan.

I want pipes similar to these

http://www.powerflowexhausts.net/images/VP.jpg

The tip fills the space really nicely!

Now the 2 main issue we have are.

1. the tip would stick out quite far
2. The back of the tip needs fabricating so that its not a big oval on the back.

so we do the following.

1. We are going to cut the tip down so its 4" long
2. They are going to then cut a plate out for the back of the oval and then weld that onto the tip. Once welded on they then cut a hole where the pipe can be welded into the tip.

They will be putting a straight through small back box thats like 9"x5" back on and from there it will be basically the smallest bore they have to run from the box out. This should allow ample room to bend the pipes the 90º needed to output to the tips.

so.......

They will call me once they have fabricated both tips and then i will try and liase with Andy to see when he can get there with his beast to show them how his runs properly....and there we go.

so delayed maybe a week or 2. No biggie!

just get this in the open , no mate will not affect it at all as long as you keep the cat and centre box

Finally im getting it all sorted tomorrow (I hope)

Ive had confirmation that they have re-fabricated the tips. They are ovals that are 4" long and should nicely fill the gap. As a guide to how big they are you can fit the current standard tip inside these oval tips with room to move it about aswell.

All I need to decide now is if i want a small back box or not. If its so small its not gonna amake a difference i wont have it. Hopefully handy andy is gonna make it down aswell to see it go in.
