Got a test drive booked at our local renault dealers in an R26 this saturday. Taking the cheque book with me for the deposit, but was wondering, being that I am dealing direct through Renault, what should I go for? Free mudflaps? Free Liquid gold paint?

unless they offer you a friends and family discount you are likely to pay quite a lot through a dealer.
check buymynewcar.co.uk - great prices, free xenons at the moment and full uk spec (3yr warranty) and first reg owner. I havent spoken to them myself yet - only through messages on here but one of my mates has spoken to them and been offered a good deal.

If you ask for mats to be thrwn in ask em for the black ones with the full velcro backing. These are made for the 225 and will fit nicely. I aint got the part number but im sure some one on here will have it.

yeah mate, you want a full tank of petrol, some mats, 12 months tax, if you like the yellow paint then go for that, basically just haggle and get as much discount as possible, and a good finance deal too if thats the way you're going with it, and try and get a few options for free too! :D

good luck mate, like you say, keep us posted! :D

Best dealer price (factory order, not pre-reg) I know of is £15,100 prior to options. So why not go for that - I did!

According to renault website 0% is no longer offered on R26! Push for it though mate it helps offset the price difference from tinternet suppliers.

skyman - dont think they can give that price any more - they quoted me £16200 as their best now

Oh well, couldn't last forever! I think 5 or 6 orders were placed at the lower price. Still, £16,200 is not a bad price from a dealer though.
