Saw my first one this morning, looked gorgeous! Honestly it did!

I'd consider one with the T5 engine in it if it wasn't for the price.

I spotted one on Tuesday at Braehead in Glasgow, off white creamy colour. Must admit thought it looked like a dogs dinner and far too pricey.

I got to drive one of these when it was first released. Not been able to get into the T5 but drove the 2.4, unfortunately an automatic but even in
tip-tronic mode it was completely and utterly gutless!
Fantastically built car with so many toys and great styling, but the engine's have really let the car down, the T5 isn't even that powerful.

Its all about the S60R!

I saw one at my local Volvo dealer as I walked past. Confirmed what I thought when I saw it in a mag, squint and you can make out the Focus ST, and also the Toyota Aygo/Pug 107 boot glass contraption..

Aren't volvo dropping the R range though?

Dont know - there was talk of a new C70R but that will never happen. They seem to have phased out all the 'straight' engines in favour of the american market and the top models are now all V8's. The new concept XC which has been out in the press recently is supposed to have the T6 engine, but I think its unlikely we're ever see an 'R' again.
Such a shame!

Although the C30 will probably resist the urge to fling itself into the nearest hedge during rapid lateral G changes ;-)
