Elise 111R and Exige S today. I am starting to look for another car and wanted to get the whole Lotus thing out of my system.....didnÂ’t do any good what so ever today!!!!
Took the 111R out for about half an hour all round country lanes and stretches of dual carriage ways. Was wicked....but just didnÂ’t do it for me.
Then I took the Exige S out.............bloody hell. That car is a total beast. It is just awesome. The power just comes from no were and keeps going the noise is blistering and everyone turns round to see what it is. It was in White and my god it look the part. There were Black ones, yellow ones but the White was the best.
If I had the cash I would get an Exige S tomorrow, it really was the most fun and surprisingly the ride was more or less the same as the Trophy which is stiff enough!!
The only downfall it is not a car for everyday use as the tyres are total track, fine weather tyres, but as I said to the dealer if I was to spend that money I would buy an 'everyday' set as well.
All said and done the Exige S really is awesome. Ferrari, Porsche etc.....goodbye!!!!
