Hi , i'm going to attempt to change the oil in my meg dci , anybody know wether its easy or not , as the filters on the front of the engine ? any advice would be appreciated.

no idea from me mate. i'd be guessing it might be a pig to do without a ramp or a pit. i cant remember exactly where the filter is on a DCi.

It's a bit of a pain to get the oil filter out, the air con pipes are in the way, you have to pull them to the side to get the filter out, I ended up pouring the dirty oil from the filter down the front of the engine!

actually got round to doing my oil change , what a pain , my cars got a full dealer service history (supposedly) i dont reckon they have actually changed the oil filter from new it was virtually siezed solid...lol , still the old screw driver through the filter got it off eventually combined with a strap and ratchet type thing , still at least i know its done now and it'll be easier every 9000 miles from now on.
