met bruce for a bit last night, and he took me out in his new car, omg, what a fcuking noise!!!!! its bloody awesome!!! its fantastic inside, and out! the colour of the leather is class (imo) and the sunburnt orange or whatever its called (sunburst maybe?) it stunning when you're stood next to it! the wheels are gorgeous, they look like proper expensive units (im sure they are!!) and the boot... well, erm, you could probably fit more in it than i could in my GP!!!

i would say its at least as quick as a 225/230 if not a bit more, but like he pointed out, you don't get the thump in the back like you do with the meggy, its more 'fast as ****' no matter what rpm you're doing!!!! totally impressed, but im seriously not impressed with the 16mpg figure that he informed me of! :eek:

im getting 38.7mpg now, and i love every minute of it! :D

You've completely sold me on black cars now. I've always thought twice about it, but after seeing you Punto in the flesh waxed up it looks awsome. Whether its another 350z or a Meg225 that I have next, it's definately going to be black!
Might have to contact Shiny as well about those LED's. Well impressive!

black is a very good colour... if you have the time, dedication and patience to look after it properly. :)

but its a renault v6 engine, they dont make the power but sound superb yes. especially with aftermarker exhaust

Nissan/Renault does exist, but it was Nissan that allowed the VQ to be used for the VelSatis and for Formula Renault.

Correct the VQ is Nissan built prior to Renault buying part of them.

Now Ren own a big chunk of Nissan, technically it's part Renault - mere technicallity tho! Ren have taught Nissan pretty much everything about oil burners though.

imo the 350z is as quick as the 225, and im assuming its a heavier car than the 225 was, so it cant be that short of the 'book figures'

bruce informed me that his was the 'slowest' 350z with only 280bhp, :eek: and it still blew me away when i went for a ride in it!

even if it was only chucking out 260bhp or whatever you think the 'below quoted' figures are i don't care, its fast, looks bloody great and sounds awesome... end of!!!

Thanks for all the positive comments Dave. To be honest, I didn't expect to get too many compliments on here any way. After all, this is a board for meganesport owners.
I never brought the 350z for its power any way. Its the looks that have always made me want one. If I was after power I could of got a Lotus Exige or something for around the same money.
Like I've said before, there probably isn't much between a 225 and a 350z. It would come down to drive skill at the end of the day.

It's probably one of Nissan's finest cars imo (although I wouldn't have one). None of this Skyline poop!
