Phil, my toxic fume light flashed before i put the dv on, but afte a few weeks of having my dv on, it flashed more often. Since its been fixed, no problems !!!

Touch wood.

What is the toxic light :? :? The only ligth that comes on often is when I open the door :wink: :wink:

Its an amber warning light that flashes up on the dash, particularly when sat stationary for a while with the engine running. Its to do with the injectors.

Neither do I mate. Don't have any problem with the DV since October 05. No toxic light warning or anything...

phil i went with "light flashing with no DV fitted" but this was on my blue 225 i had,

as for the new one, iv not had any lights flash yet and iv put the DV on the car and now its off and all still ok.

your toxic fume light can only be triggered from your lambda sensors try replacing them I rekon

Try telling Renno that!

Yeah, on past/older cars when it flashes it leads to lambda sensor but renno point towrads coils or injectors for some reason!

Mine seems worse when the DV is on so i wondered if there maybe a link!

I was wondering whether it had anything to do with the type of fuel people are using - how many people who fill with 98 RON fuel all the time experience the Toxic Fume Light problem compared with those who fill up with 95 RON, in particular the supermarket nasty stuff?

Always use 98 ron and never had the toxic fume light come on.

Mines always on 95 I've never even seen it flicker on mine. My 172 had it on permenantly after I put a decat on, think one of the lambdas had burnt out

used both unleaded and super unleaded never had toxic light come on woth or without dump valve on :D
