well as you might see from my other thread i was looking at getting a R26 from nationwide cars....poped into my local renault dealer to have a look around the car and see what they could do.

turns out they have a liquid r26 that was first registared in mid april 07 and only done 3000 miles as a demo car

its list price is £21,600 they didnt want to sell it for a month or two but after much haggiling they let me have it for £16,000.....put deposit on it today and i pick it up on saturday!

seem like a good deal?.......im so exited!!!!! :drool:

It's disheartening sometimes when you spend best part of a weekend grinding your dealer down to get £500 off and free carpet mats only to have someone post saying they'd just got a 225 for 10 grand :D

16k still sounds ok to me for 3000 miles. You've basically paid £400 for the 'buy it now - drive it now' price rather than a 12 week delivery!

I've seen a Liquid up and down the M1 a couple of times. Might be that.

Just heard back, hope to get a quote tomorrow.

They are willing to pay you £100 (thats if I buy) as a referal fee, but for that to work I need to give them your name.
