Everything does seem to be sorted now, Dates are out, events planned and the manufacturers have signed a deal for testing. So i would say the ring is safe for this year!

The roller coaster will never open, it has only run once on the demo.
Ask your self how many roller coaster that you have seen going trough a mall and where you can walk below the thing.
Yeah right - ZERO. The people who ran the place and still do havent got a clue on quite a few things.

The ring itself will of course be open to pay the bills from the last years out of control and proportion buildings and plans.

I am sorry but I don't agree with your view on the roller coaster never opening. I am aware that it is very involved engineering process to ensure that it runs safely and efficiently but come on, this is the Germany we are talking about! If you want something to be designed, engineered and built efficiently and safely, the Germans are the guys for that!!

Again, I am aware of the trials and tribulations which exist financially at the Ring Park resort, but do you really think they would of invested millions of Euro's to build the facility and the coaster itself and then for it to never actually be open to the public??? Although they might of been a bit short sighted creating the Ring Park and imposing many restrictions and price hikes, they won't let the entire investment go to waste...

I believe that the key to ensuring long term security is to seperate the Ring Park from the Nuburgring and Nordeschliefe themselves. This way the tracks will still bring in profit and the Ring Park resort will be a seperate entity which will be supported by the tourists attending sessions at the Ring...
