Default ClioSXT (Not technically a sport)

      Hi all.

Thought i would upload some pictures of my Clio, Its not a "RenaultSport" Model but it is a little different (Only 800 were made apparently)

It started out a 2007 Clio SX 1.2TCE (SX has a different bodykit, Front wings, Air-conditioning, and Disk brakes on the rear (Instead of the usual drums) and Extra tinted windows.

Unfortunately I'm a bit of a audiophile, and after a few months of owning it, the standard radio was removed and replaced. And over the following years, i have gradually replaced every part of the audio system (it is now finished)

I wanted to keep the practicality of the car (So no Mahoosive subs etc) and also keep it looking like it could of come from the factory with it fitted.

The list of parts installed (audio wise) is quite long, and if any one is interested i can upload it

      Externally, I have fitted:

Wind deflectors, CarBra, L.E.D Lights all round (Including R8 Style Side lights, Footwell, Interior lights), Twin Air Horns. Clio 200 Floor Mats, 197 Pedals, 25mm Hub-centric Spacers on the Rear (each side, Not shown in these pictures), Stearing coloum Mounted Boost gauge,

      Performance:

Custom Air intake, HKS SSQV Black Edition dump valve, Sebring "Sport" Backbox (Makes no difference what so ever!), 1*2 Injectors, Re-Map to 138HP/152LB-FT, Gold Wrapped Pipework (Not shows in pictures)

      Pictures ?

      Audio ?

Feel Free to comment (I know its not every ones cup of tea!)

      Cheers

Ive got to admit it really is a loverly car to drive, but unfortunately I'm starting to feel the urge for something a bit bigger and with a bit more pull

      Update ...

Keeping the Clio for the next couple of years, was going to swap for a Megane R26 LY, but thanks to the silly trade in price that they wanted for my clio, i simply couldn't afford it .... BUT Work will cary on on the clio in the next few months.

      Coming up ...

Going to Forge Motorsport to become a development car for a FMIC for the TCE engine.
After this the 182 injectors are being re-installed and re-mapped to see if any more power can be extracted.
CF wrapped roof + extras (Still debating tbh)
      Some form of rimmage.
Upgraded brakes (Grooved and Dimpled disks on the front, EBC GreenStuff pads all round)
      And all new cleaning/polishing gear.

Yesterday i went out for a run and took more photos ... as i wanted some time on my own, and take some practice shots

      OH NO!!!!

Nothing to see hear! Just a slight bit of exhaust Re-working ...

As most of you know, My car don't exactly make the most, or most tone full exhaust note. But after the mid box removal and a straight pipe in its place. it now sounds much much nicer :P (But is not over the top at all)

Next up ... Ive been naughty ... and I've done the opposite of what I've always said i won't do ... and thats buy these ...

There a set of AP Sportfahrworke coil overs. They are being fitted hopefully next friday (After the clios been serviced and MOT'd

Also ... Just for the LOL's ... Ive not got a set of Bonnet lifters, There only really going to be on for shows or when i cba to put them on etc.

      Update

Sorry about it being a while since I've been on ...

Right then ... where to start.

I fitted RS Grills with DRLS.

Its been serviced and MOT'd + Cambelt change. Ive also treated the car with slick 50 Oil treat meant. Which meant taking out "clean" oil that renault had put in 50 miles previously!

I went to 'Cars in the Park' with 'Uk-Mods.co.uk' and hears some of the pics of my car from there

But first i had to prep it! ...
      Paint Prep

And some More gold Heat reflection ...
      Before ...

      After

I also Purchased a Oil Catch Can (One of them was for a friends golf)
(Unfortuantly i couldn't plumb it in straight away due to needing reducer pipes)

      Hears pics from the show.

My car got quite a bit of interest, Especially when people heard it and realised it was turbo'd

Earlier this month i went to dynodaze and met up with a few Mates from Uk-Modz and Low Standards Forums.

Again, My car got a bit of attention, especially from the owner of dynodaze! He is really keen to re-map my car to the 150Hp mark (After I've fitted the new intercooler, de-cat and reworked exhaust)

      Hears some pics

      On the Dyno.

      And the print out ...

      [email protected]
      [email protected]

Not shy for a 1.1! (And thats with just a Custom Induction kit and dump valve!)

After this I finally got my coil overs fitted!.

And hears the results straight after fitment (Front and rears set to half way roughly

The Mk2 Golf is my Mate's Jay's. and yes ... the wheels are teddy Bears! :D

Since this shoot, Ive levelled the front and lowered the rear by half a inchThe sills now sit 5 inch of the floor, instead of the 7 and a half inch before!.

Ive had the alignment adjusted ...

This was done by using a John Bean X-cel Wheel Aligner.

And now i have finally got round to plumbing in the catch tank ...

      And it works

Next up is The New FMIC which is being ordered after my holiday, and then the cat is being removed ... then off to re-mapping :D

And thats It for the time being.

      Update ...

      Update ...

Got bored one fine evening and took some pictures ...

      Spot the clio :P

Unfortuantly ... a week after these photos ...

A friend of mine made me lower it more ... This is how it now sits

(At MFN End of season show)

      A couple of Panorama's

Also Purchased Pressed plates and renault surounds ..

Most of you will be happy to know that after much debating over wheels in the past ... I have finally found a set I'm willing to purchase

These arn't them ... these are Rota grid Drifts (Photoshopped) ..> But the ones i'm getting are similar (thats all im willing to say for now :P)

Now all i have left to do is get the intercooler sorted and the wheels ... Fingers crossed the bribing of parents pays off XD

      Till next time
