Default PS3 yellow light of death...

Anyone managed successfully fixed their playstation 3 after the dreaded yellow light of death ? Happened to mine today and want the game saves off it before I buy a new one.

      Cheers

Yes, I took it to a local repair place near me. Cost about 50 quid, although the fix doesn't tend to last forever so its best to start looking for a new system mate. Some good deals out there at the mo.

You can then use the transfer ps3 to ps3 software on the ps3 to save everything off your old one.
