Default Clio 305 (Looking to Sell)

Yep, putting a Meg 250 engine and cup gearbox in a clio 197. Still some stuff to work out. Im aiming for stage 2 so around 320bhp.

Need to work out whether the Meg 225 shafts work in 250 gearbox.
Need to decide whether to run hybrid 225 turbo or standard 250.
VVT will need to be wired in.
      Need uprated fuel pump.
Need to work out how to get a bigger intercooler fitted.
      I'm running standard 225 ecu.
      Need 250 gearlinkages

In Spain, theres a 250 fitted into a 225 on here and I've in-boxed him on here, Facebook and spanish forum but they are not divulging anything else about the build....so wish me luck.

That supercharger will be £4500'ish running standard internals. I've already got the engine and box for a fraction of that.

Loads of work, but should be a awesome car if you go ahead with it.

Any pics of the parts and car?

Should be good. As you probably know, Meg 225 conversions have been done on the clio (think there are 4 or 5 now). Local garage's just finished one last week and of course ktecs so less of the unknown aside from 250. The F4RT (still makes me laugh) are pretty much the same to look at. Just the unknown and the big hurdle around the ecu. I have a genius who sorted the clio 225 so fingers crossed....

No pics really aside from a engine and gearbox...build not started yet

Yeah jonesy and fmp both have 225 engine in their clios, so im sure the 250 engine will fit no probs.

Only issues i can see is the vvt and whether the shafts will fit, but im sure something could be made to suit.

Agree.....Hopefully gonna physically have a set of shafts to see if the fit over the weekend. Need to decide whether to hybrid the 225 turbo that I've got or find a 250 turbo?

Hybrid mate. I know kipper on here did have a 250 turbo for sale, but a hybrid and bigger injectors should make the car more fun

£600 plus vat for the hybrid treatment on your own turbo (which you dont have) but i might know someone who has one that needs a turbine housing
