I thought I would post the acceleration times from a test in AB Sportscars this month.

HGP R36 Bi-turbo Modified 7 speed Stronic
745 ps,925 Nm 1601 kg
109,775.00 Euro

0 -100 km/h = 2.97 sec(launched at 2700 rpm to protect Haldex etc)
0 -160 km/h = 5.97 sec
0 -200 km/h = 8.91 sec
0 -250 km/h = 13.58 sec
0 -300 km/h = 22.02 sec

Aventador
700 ps,690 Nm, 1807 kg
312,970.00 Euro

0 -100 km/h = 2.94 sec
0 -160 km/h = 5.98 sec
0 -200 km/h = 8.91 sec
0 -250 km/h = 14.37 sec
0 -300 km/h = 23.94 sec

Brömmler GTR
800 ps, 900 Nm ( 1.5 Bar/1.7 Bar), 1736 kg
159,940.00 Euro
0 -100 km/h = 2.99 sec
0 - 160 km/h = 5.91 sec
0 - 200 km/h = 8.62 sec/8.2 secs
0 - 250 km/h = 13.39 sec
0 - 300 km/h = 21.71 sec/19.6 secs

some interesting figures there.
The Lambo has the perfect factory launch system, which is why it's with the others to 160 km/h.
The Golf is restricted on launch, and the GTR struggles to get all the power down, spinning the rear wheels.

German tuning prices are very high,I'm sure it would be possible to get the GTR and Golf done much cheaper in the UK.
I've driven a 400 hp + golf and that was fun, so I can't imagine how much fun you could have with a 700 hp+ Golf on the Autobahns,it must be hilarious pulling up behind a Mclaren or 458 Ferrari !
Been in a 650 hp + TT RS,so that would have a similar pace to these cars.

yep.
Had a quick bit of fun with an Aventador and a Mosler on Saturday.
I past them ,then slowed for traffic,as I accelerated the Aventador tried to keep up but was losing ground and pulled over to let the Mosler have ago.It was only over a km or so, then we had to exit the Autobahn but a good bit of fun.
