      General opinion is the drive is less involving than before, and it's the gearbox that let's it down. It's not fast enough and doesn't pre-select the correct gear.

      Chassis sounds like it's good though, seems to have a quite mobile rear similar to the Megane.

      I'm looking forward to reading a few more in-depth reviews about it when people have had more time with it.

      Gearbox will go down a lot better with the public than the motoring press I'm sure. I think these will fly out of the showroom. Perfect car for the playstation generation that are just coming to the age where they can afford the PCP. Perfectly judged car by Renault IMO.

      Lots of standard Clios in Renault Cardiff this morning. They must have had about 15 of them lined up along the front, Renault are banking on these selling well! I've still yet to see one on the road though.

      I've seen a couple standard ones on the road and they do look ok

      Not keen on this at all. Too gimicky and mainstream. Lost its edge in my opinion...no brembos and 4 doors too.. shame
