Did he say it was a nismo engine? If it was a jap engine it would be bullet proof to tuning. I like the car, but I dont like how close it looks to a normal model and no special seats!

Was thinking this myself, if it is a nismo job then should be some mega power versions around pretty quickly

And reliability! A tuned 1.6t being lighter could be real competition for a standard meg I'm thinking.

It's the 1.6 DIG-T from from the Juke, running the same power as the Nismo Juke.

As I said in the other thread, people are getting about 230bhp out of it easily - I'm sure once more people get a hold of the Clio they'll be pushing out more than that

Generally Nissan make the petrol engines and Renault make the diesel engines for the Renault Nissan brand.

I wouldn't get to excited about the m4r engine as it does suffer from head gasket failure
Done a few megane's that have **** themselves with low mileage yes its already fitted to meganes, looks like a good car but I'm afraid it's still not for me I couldn't get over that front end and I can't stand that type of gearbox just not my bag I'm afraid, I think my 250 is gonna be my last renaultsport when it finally dies in a few years time

Dont like it personally, it looks far to much like the standard car, when you see a megane RS you know its and RS, if i saw that flying past i couldnt tell the difference, proper diff would have been nice aswell.
