      I've looked at them loads of times, I'd have the DSG box though, you can even map that to change gear quicker , I used to be into my VWs, had a 5 page issue with one of my golfs

      Engines are bullet proof, my mate has a Leon cupra K1 with the same engine running 386bhp for not much money

      I had one before i got my rs250, great car to live with, but the 250 was better in every way, but it's a big step up from an r26, enjoy it mate.The main thing i didn't like was the over served brakes, needed a light touch.

      Ive found that with the brakes but I will get use to it ha and ive gone with the dsg steve... didnt think id like it but nothing to complain about yet!

      My missus sister has a golf when I drove it I nearly went through the screen more than once because of the servod brakes compared to my r26 I don't like how thin the doors seem either but as said above each to there own enjoy mate

      I love the ed30 golf, really nice cars. As said a bit of a sleeper because you don't know what they are till your up close.
