Make sure you've got plenty of life in the pads , and tyres are all good to get you there, do the day and then home again.Torque wrench to check wheels after every session, tyre pressure gauge, then turn up and enjoy.

Get out the way of fast drivers.
Remember to time your laps so you've got a lap time to aim for every session out , Nowt worse than not knowing how fast your lapping.

Remember to be courteous but don't panic about it. Tyres pads and have fun. I think my first track day at the Renault sport day I was overly nervous and drove much much better when I relaxed a bit.

Had a great day at croft on sunday! the R26 was great overtaking everything in my session group, i felt myself sliding a little in the standard Recaros although my missus was fine when she drove with her back not being as wide.

was seeing 11.7 Mpg on track, it was a very hot surprisingly so removed the rubber trim to stop the heat staying contained under the carbon bonnet! glad I fitted an uprated intercooler years ago

I think a stage 1 map would of added a little without too much torque, and some 4 point harnesses would of been good!
