Hi Guys,

Put my deposit down on a 07 plate R26 this week and picking it up either Sat or Monday! Very excited!!

I had been looking around for a reasonably priced hot hatch for a while now and about 2 months ago I was about to go for the astra vxr...after being in it for a while i realised it wasn't for me when an R26 absolutely shattered us on the track. This sealed it for me and I went on doing some research on the R26.

Going from a tuned Renault 5 GT Turbo I thought staying in the Renault scene is a must and I would need something that would at least keep up with it when "going for a blast", so hoping the R26 lives up to the expectation.

The cruise control was a big selling point for me too

Gone for a black one wanted Blue but this one just sold it for me.

r26's are amazing on track to be fair, what track were you on when an r26 did you? could have been me. astra's definately were not made to go around corners well!
