I tend to use just a Meguiars wheel brush and a sponge! That seems to do the trick.

I've always been wary of those wheel cleaner solutions as I cleaned a set of alloys years ago whilst they were off the car and in the garden. I got my arse kicked coz the solution killed my mums lawn instantly hahaha.

iv got that brush and sponge thing in me garage but never used it, is it any good :?:

The wheel brush is really good mate, literally wet the wheels and use the brush between the spokes. It loosens up all of the brake dust and you can just give em a wipe. Saves on all the chemical cleaners.

I guess it depends how long you leave the wheels to get dirty though. You may not find the brush enough if they've not been cleaned by a while.
