wrong mate, sorry - sure you are not talking about 250 normal and sport modes as that is just throttle sensitivity.

my scangauge supports two different boost pressure about 0.2 bar apart.

if i find the link ill post it up as on the french forum they did data logging and fuelling/boost e.t.c was all different, two separate maps. i dont dispute the throttle is made more sharper its just it runs a different map in 265 sport mode.

Mattys right, it throttle response thats the difference between the modes on the 250, where as on the 265 its throttle redponse and minor changes to mapping ie slight increase in boost. Thats why on the 265 you can get each mode mapped differently

i too had these questions. day to day OK? what about dealer problems?
f*** it i thought since i dont do many miles so I took it direct from forecourt with 300 miles on it. I had mine mapped by RS-Tuning and can honestly say the difference was night and day. i only made 305bhp with the remap (always meant to put it up and maybe one day i will) but I was giddy the car was so much more responsive and more pleasurable to drive. Ive had mine like this now for 1.5 years and 20,000 miles. There are absolutely no issues with additional spinning the wheels, no hot or cold start issues. Always lived on Shell V-power.

HTH

Simon.
