Any Geordies?

Has anyone up here in the north east changed there exhaust? The reason i ask is that i've heard a few stories about some companies refusing to do the job as it's not that easy and if i'm going to have it done i might as well get it done properly.

I'm the first to admit that i don't know anything about exhausts and tuning in general but after seeing pics of peoples modded exhausts i quite fancy one. I don't want it to be too loud inside the car (well not at the lower revs anyway, would like a nice sounds when i'm revving it though) so has anyone got any ideas what i should do. If you could spell it out in laymans terms that would be helpful. :lol:
