Best speakers to fit Meggy?

Thinking of chucking the Alpine E-Series comps. I recently bought...

What are the speakers you are currently using? I want to upgrade but dont want to use any adaptors or any mod that might alter the door trim or the way it looks... Looking for a snap-drop-screw-snap thing...

Your recommendations would be most welcome gentlemen!

these ones are just about the only direct fit I think you can get

... And these... if you chop off 2 f the plastic scrw holes... but thas all you need to do

But quality wise.. I dont know how they compare to the Alpines... Both seem very "Entry level" to me...

Has anybody tried the Focals 130v Slims? ... They're £250... but Top Q

Actually Jon, you're right... Ive double checked the Pioneers and even the tweeter seems to be a direct fit. I was wondering how to install the alpine tweeter since its tiny and just falls thru the OEM tweeter hole!

Hi Meggerman... Thanx for the pic... The thing is that im trying to achieve a total stealth set up... So it need to be something that fits behind the original grilles and at the same time allow the window mechanism to operate... (about 50mm deep)

Any ideas?

i have the Pioneers that Jon said about. they are so damn easy to fit as they are renault specific

they sound great too, treble is really clear. ill try and get a pic up of how they look without the grill on tomorrow night if you like.

That be fantastic! Ive almost made up my mind on those Pioneers... Id be great to see a pic of them fitted...

My setup will be a gamble

1.- Original Head unit

Lets see how it works...
