Bleeding Clutch on Renault Megane 255

I need the correct method on how this is done so that I can pass it on to my mechanic, they are struggling. Renault NZ don’t know the method either so I am somewhat stranded.

Thanks M1BJR for your recommendation of using a pressurised feed, they have tried this to no avail.

Where is the fluid bleed point? Have been told to reverse bleed it?

If someone could be so kind as to Email or talk to their competent Renault dealer and ask if they could provide a guide as to how it’s done it would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Graham

Sorry if my question is annoys you, I don’t expect many people to know how it’s done as your service centres are most likely filled with trained technicians that are familiar with the job, unfortunately there are none on this side of the world. I searched for a while but found nothing, used words like "bleed" "Clutch" and "bleeding", lots of recommendations to bleed the clutch but not a method on how it’s done.

Thanks.

As the bleed nipple is before the slave cylinder it'll probably need bleeding until clear, then the clutch pedal operating several time then bleeding again and rinse and repeat until they get a good pedal.

Its a royal pain in the ass but it just takes time and persistance, reverse bleeding the system won't necessarily help as its getting the air out of the slave thats the problem not the line between the brake fluid res, master cylinder and the bleed nipple. If the bleed point was post the slave cylinder then none of this trouble would exist.

reverse bleeding works a treat on these boxes.
where the feed pipe connects to the slave there is a nipple there pull the clip up closeist the nipple and pull the pipe out one notch (not all the way out)
and reverse bleed it or gravity bleed it. clip pipe back in and pump pedal 30 times might be a enough to get it going.
they are the hardist box to bleed of the renault range

Cheers guys, my mechanic will be impressed.

It confused the hell out of him stating he has never seen anything like it.

MS is awsome, my windows went into limp mode after the batery being disconected, so jumped on here, 5mins later, just like new!

Legends.
