Picked her up Saturday morning and spent the afternoon driving it like it was supposed to be driven.

It is sublime!

More refined than the Clio, quieter inside, well made.

OK so maybe it is a little less chuckable than the clio was, not as raw etc. etc. but it's a lot more stable at speed and the LSD works wonders!
Recaro's FANTASTIC! really nice place to be inside overall to be honest.
Brembo's will rip your face off if you stamp on them lol.

'Mods' so far....

-New wipers
-£40 of petrol
-Silvervisions
-LED number plate bulbs

Plans to come:
-Health check from BTM
-Engine oil change with minor service (filters etc)
-Exhaust mount
-Gear box oil change
-Brake Fluid change

Future plans:
-Megane 250 steering wheel if thats possible
-Exhaust from BTM ;)
-Braided lines
-DS 2500 Pads
-Wheels refurbed
-Two new hankook V12's
-TPI polorized wheel nuts
-HID's maybe, I do miss how bright the clio's lights where in comparrison.
-Maybe some lowering springs
-Remap Stage 1

Coments on plans?

Anyway You all know what one looks like but here you go anyway after a quick buff up:

Polished pipes look great! Was it hard to do?
not hard just a ballache mate, broke a dremel doing it lol.

I'm going to keep polishing them untill I'm 100% happy with a mirror finish.
Are you planning to cover it with lacquer, to maintain the 'shiney-ness' :) ?
Tax disc fell off today //fail, need to buy another now! :(

bay looks good mate! quick question, when you have the samco hoses fitted does the engine cover still fit on?
Engine bay looks well tidy!! What did you do to get the engine that clean? Almost looks sprayed?
my money is on high temp ali paint/spray...... looks good though!
Yup, VHT paint. Cleaned the engine with de-greaser/APC wire brushed and then sprayed, masking up EVERYTHING I couldnt remove.

Belt cover will be getting mirror polished as soon as I can be arsed to remove it for a few days.

The eagle eyed amongst you will also notie the red/black heat shrink on the battery terminals.
ya you must have masked everything as that paint seems to get everywhere! think ill just use a little paint brush when i do mine! Top job though :) does your engine cover fit with the samco hoses?
That hose looks familiar. Lol

Engine bay looks good mate. Im tempted to paint my rocker cover silver to try and brighten my bay up, but not sure if it will be ott :/
No the engine cover fits fine :)

Yeah Steven the silver isnt as bright in real life looks 100times better than the horrible dull oil stained silver it was before.

Engine bay has a long way to go untill it's how I want it, ned to find out how to stop the back bit sagging, get some stuff chromed etc etc.

Ya that saggy bit well annoying!
How did you find painting the rocker cover without removing it?
My engine/rocker is pretty clean, but i want a few bits including the inlet manifold painted anthracite, so the rocker might look dull.
It was fine, as with painting anything it's all about time and patience just spent a while masking eveything up taking bits off that I could take off then away I went.
Spot on mate, looks fab. How you get the head clean?
