Hi all I'm new to the site. I'm wanting to bleed my clutch this weekend, done alot of research on here and other sites and iv seen the diagram posted by some one. I was wondering if you can use an easy bleed kit on them or not? Also a bit confused when it says use a syringe, not sure where this would go??

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks maz

you use the syringe to reverse bleed.

basically yes you should be ok bleeding as normal or a pressure bleeder as the slave is filled

people run in to problems when fitting a new clutch/slave

While I was trying to bleed the system last night the pipe came past one click, does this need replacing now, or will it be ok?

When i did my clutch/flywheel/slave i was worried about bleeding the clutch from what iv read on here, got a mate to pump the pedal up firm, opened it up, he pumped away till ran clear, closed the nipple. had a good pedal, scratched my head and thought what was so hard about that lol

the only hard bit was the fact renault dont use a small nut/bleed nipple, but a stupid clip thing

You are pumping the pedal up a good amount of times before you open the nipple?! Are you sure your not pulling the pipe too far off? This will cause air to enter the system again.

like jon35y said, its best bleeding it with 2 people, get someone to pump pedal up and down a good few times to create some pressure, have them hold pedal down and then open nipple and start pumping away keeping the resevoir topped up. Repeat until you ahve a clutch

unless seal has folded over in master cylinder?

It's no good mate, got it something like but can't get a full pedal, going to tow it to a Renault specialist I think

I did the reverse bleed as well mate. Turns out the master cylinder and clutch peddle assembly were screwed. All sorted now. Thanks for the advice
