hi guys,

just thought i'd throw this little conumdrum out for a tender, does anyone know if you can link a ipod video up to another screen,
i.e headrest/visor or Headunit cause i'm gonna buy one in the next couple of weeks and i'm going to link it into my car but thinking of using the video part of it to play to an external device

Not gone one myself but you can get one of these. Read the comments at the bottom, some guy is using it with a Pioneer head unit

Yup, you can get a ipod connection to video out leads so yep it would and can be played through an external screen, sound quality wouldn't be the worlds best as it is only limited to the amp built into the ipod,

BUT :lol:



If you were to buy a docking cradle (not sure if its been invented yet) That may have all the connections and even an amp for in house connectivity to a TV, so if this has been invented you could just transfer into your car and get the same results!

Then you can just hide the plug in the car under the dash or in the glove box etc and then have it wired up to your tv and hey presto your in business! :lol: :lol:

yes mate you would be able to on mine and play it trough all 3 tvs, as the control box in the glove box has got 3 vid ins which in turn send the pic to all screens, then the audio will be put through the the same box and then out via the subs and rears,

my headrest screens have even got the there own AV in socets on the front for them for other devices,

do you want just a screen/radio as 90% are, or one with a cd player/radio built in or one with a cd/dvd/radio player built in.

just a screen would do fine or maybee with dvd player but i'm not that bothered, as i'm gonna have the ipod for the tunes and the standard stereo for radio.

Hmmm yea not sure if you can just get a single din screen with no goodies attached like radio cd etc like andy said,
