To be honest i was chatting with the guy who did the service constantly, so i probably put him off what he was doing!

It just makes more of a whistle through the exhaust, it does make the boost shoot to 0.9/1 bar for about a second or two then settles to 0.8 bar

I'm waiting to hear back from david, butwould be good to get down at the same time!

I've left my actuator arm in the normal position, when me and pau were testing out the remaps originally we both found on our cars that even if you wid the arm in the ECU still controls the boost. I fitted a boost guage to mine when I did it and without the map the boost did initially rise up to about 15psi but only once, it was like the ECU "learnt" the new actuator setting. As far as I'm aware the boost is totally ECU controlled, I'm no expert like, if the boost is ECU controlled whats the purpose of the actuator arm? Whatever the actuator arm is there for renault have put anti tamper paint on it so you can see if its been tinkered with (they have also done this with the map sensors)

With the arm wound in it should keep the wastegate closed
increasing the boost
It must still open even when fully wound in, but i agree that is one clever ECU!

The remap will enable higher boosts so the wastegate will open at a higher boost level 1Bar ish
winding it in as standard doesn't work because it still opens it at a fixed level ie 0.8 bar if you get what i mean

I wouldn't advise going too far to be honest as it does have an electronic valve which is controlled by the ecu and this does pull boost back down to 14psi. It may be possible to bypass the valve but tbh the ECU on this car is a total piece of sh*t!

Actuator Arm

This might sound stupid but were is the actuator arm, how do I get to it if I want to adjust it??? Bit of a turbo virgin I'm afraid. . .
No mods to the car yet so what difference, if any would adjusting it make!
