I thought about a RS before i bought the RS225, dismissed it cause the running costs would be too high. Most will be out of warranty now. Wanted a newer car anyway.

Theyre definetly quicker than the 225 from a 3rd gear rolling start, reeled him in in 4th though 
Don't think I'd pay £15995 for a 3yr old focus, RS or not. The new ST is faster and there are deals out there which could get you a new one for nearly the same money
The 0-60 time of the Focus RS is about the same as the 225 isn't it? but they are pushing about 212bhp or something???
Still expensive for what you get, as said above the new Focus ST is out and more powerful for not much more!

They certainly have a WRC look to em which certainly appeals to me.

yeah i know what you mean but just a little too expensive i am sorting my money out at the moment so dont wanna go daft i would have just bought it 1 year ago.... i must be getting sensible in my old age lol

The insurance is a killer too. I considered one but having being quoted £700 on a st170 and £500 for my meg i didnt even enquire for a RS!
insurance was dirt cheap for me actualy £30per year less than my 182 at £660 but with a compulsory excess of £700 :shock:
