So she is for sale

Have visited what feels like every Ford, Renault, Peugeot dealer etc etc in land and every single one tells me that they can not value my car against a PX for a lesser value car.

Any way, as soon as my plate is off she is going on Ebay & Autotrader so she will go to someone who will look after it at least half as much as I have. (I hope so any way!)

The last Renault garage said that they would sell my motor on their forecourt for £14,500 but this would include a bit of room for movement when being sold on. I'm going to whack her on Ebay for around the £13,500 mark. Does this sound fair? The basics of the car are as follows:

Full Fat 225 in Inferno Orange (5 door)
24000 miles
Full synethic oil & filter change at 12,000 miles
Renault service at 18,000
Just had 4 new Eagle F1 tyres fitted
Digital climate control

The car is absolutely mint! I know every man and dog says this but the car gets washed, dried and waxed EVERY week and it does not have a single mark on the exterior! I'm one of those guys who parks in the very far corner of the supermarket car park to avoid getting my doors dinted by some muppett!!

Its gonna take a while to get you plate put on retention. You should have sold the car has normal and got the single form from the DVLA for retention or transfer then when you sell it get the new owners to sign the form so that it can be transfered into your name.

We are in the process of buying a new house so need to free up some cash and move to something that will give me plenty more mpg. Sad I know but have finally decided to put my 'dad' head on and give the family a better home where we can stay for plenty of years.

That's what really annoys me about the dealers! You have taken the time to really look after the car and wash and wax it every week. They then spend 20 seconds going round it and say they can't value it !!

It is for exactly this reason I hope someone will buy it knowing how well it has been looked after and continue to do the same for a long time to come
