Local forces are now changing speed cameras to the ones shown below in an attempt to reduce the damage caused to the camera unit.

Also helps the motorist not see them as easily!!!!

Got these in west Cumbria already, you can see them no bother when out in the open but as soon as they start to disguise them behind bus stops / lamposts etc they're far more difficult to spot compared to a regular GATSO.
