I just purchased a GPI intercooler from ebay (151 gbp) , core size:635 mm X 244 mm x 60 mm (tube and fin) , 4.6kg (10.14 lbs)
As it is build , looks ok, but my doubts are related to the core tube and weight (which is a bit low). This main tube is made out of other smaller tubes, not fins, like I have seen on other intercoolers.
I will be using it on a megane 2 RS 225hp, (bc racing coilovers, ecb brakes, yellowstuff pads) by replacing the stock intercooler. Probably in the near future , would want to make some power upgrades up to 260-270hp.
Note: the car is meant to be used from time to time for track day.
Is it worth it keeping it? Or should I send it back ?
