As for car insurance mate, its really a post code lottery. I think you'll find on here other members will just tell you who their with. You'll find each has different quotes from the same company sometimes.

Im with Admiral, although Tesco's were the next best.

I got a quote from churchill and they would do it for me and the girlfriend at 21 for £1100 full com, so i think they're pretty good!

I was with Tesco for a 1.6 Focus Zetec. At first the wouldn't quote me for the 225 cause i didn't have 1 years no claims. After i got a quote with Admiral Tesco changed their mind (probably something to do with me cancelling the policy) and said they would cover me cause i'd have 1 years no claims at renewal! :?

Anyway Tesco's were good for me in the end!

I dont like confused.com as they have never once given the cheapest quote about.

Andy thats a bloody good price mate. I paid £516 with adrian flux, 29 years old, full no claims. Its due soon but I've now got 3 points for speeding (not in my meg!).

It is so much dearer down here, we obviously have more Pikeys

I don't usually rate confused, but i got my cheapest quote from them, which was Admiral. If naything Confused gives you a rough idea on prices.

I'm with First Alternative, 25 years old, 6 years Protected NCB, 6 points, £540.

Was made up with that, next best was Teco at about £750.

dools your the around the same as me ie age and ncb, give elephant a try online and just see wat it chucks out price wise,

I know £500 aint a drop in the ocean for most of us, but I still cant believe how cheap insurance is for the meg. I was also considering a focus ST170 but got qoutes of £700 minimum. As far as performance per pound goes this is another big tick for the Megane.

I got a quote on confused for £418 with me and my Sharon 32 and 31 , full no claims and no points ... but i live in the one of the worse postcodes for insurance in the country BB2 ..
