Just a quick note to say hello to everyone on here. I've recently acquired my new 225 with cup chassis after a few years of driving a very non-standard Skoda Octavia vRS. Enjoying the handling of the 225 over the vRS and that was with Bilstiens fitted, power is nice and smooth although I kind of miss the 'turbo on' spike at 1800rpm I used to get with the vRS' 1.8T engine.
I'm based up in Sunny Scotland too, I wonder if there is enough folk for a mini-meet sometime preferably when the weather get a bit warmer and the roads not covered in filth?! On another non-225 related theme, I also play guitar for a band, check out:
That's good to hear there's a few more Sweaty Socks on board keeping you Sassenachs at bay! lol
With regards to the band, the website is due for a re-vamp in a few weeks so watch this space. It'll be more up to date with hopefully better looking graphics and more band related features etc. We are currently equipping our studio in order to record and write more tracks just now so we have kind of stopped gigging. Last year we played a good few gigs though and this year we are going to do the same with hopefully a mini-UK tour being planned later on in the year. It's all self released and financed so far so at the moment we have full control over songs and decisions etc. We will see what '06 will bring in terms of raising our profile and getting folk to listen to the tracks.
Thanks for the words about the music ,very much appreciated. As a band we have been together about 18 months with varying members, the current and final line up has been together about a year. Personally, I've been playing the geetar since I was about 12 and as you can probably can hear, I'm still struggling with it!
