are they xenons for £180 ?

i just like the glimmer/flashing from them as you approach others the kind of bluey/silver twinkle. do your kits do that ? whats the difference between these and xenons

Yep they are proper xenon hid.

The difference between xenons and halogen is the gas inside xenon lights (xenon gas) burns brighter so thats how you get the light difference, xenons also use 60% less power drain so they are good for that too.

I have just fitted this kit to my car with h7 bulbs and a 6000k light output
http://www.hids4u.co.uk/product_details.asp?id=45, i found it easier to remove the front bumper and then the headlights, you have to drill a hole in the rubber gromit on the back of the headlight to feed the wires through to the ballast, then you mount the ballast somewhere near to the headlight and then you contact the power feed wires to your the original headlight power connector.

You will get a greater light output from the xenons but most of the xenons where you see a blue tint from the headlights is produced from the fish eye projector lens which are normally factory fitted to vehicles.

The blue tint does sometimes come from the optic, but normally when they are halogen, if you get 6000k - 8000k lumens, you'll have a blue tint without any problems at all.

4300k is more white than blue also.

Yep the silver boxes are the ballast, they aren't really that big when you compare them to the bulbs above them.

You'll have them too matey as you've got xenons too!

Your ballast will probably be behind your front bumper.

They might even be under the car somewhere as bmw ones i have found near the rear wheels on an m3 once.

Yea can get them for any car dave,

With the quad conversion you just fit them the same like on waynes 225 quad conversion.

just as easy to do.
