I have reached 300 miles from one tank of petrol!!

Moroway driving the whole way but not hanging about, if you know what I mean!!

well to be fair it only read 298.8 on the trip guage but the light had only just come on, so that's good enough for me... :lol:

My light normally comes on at around 260 miles, and usually fill her up at 280 - 290, never takes over 52 litres though and the claimed capacity is 60 litres so there may still be 8 litres/50 miles in there when I fill up. Therefore i think over 300miles is easily achievable, i just hate getting in my car and that fekkin horrible beep blasting out at you :|

my max was 340 miles.....thats was done on a long stretch on the motorway at 80 with cruise control on.

My trip computer is showing 22.5mpg and thats with me still running the engine in and not going much over 3000rpm!!! lol

its a round about average for the 225 i think,

and i was getting 34MPG on the way to pauls out of my F225 fighter

Make a whole heap of difference if you sit on the motorway at 72mph compared to 80...
I've regually gone from Edinburgh to Birmingham (350 miles) and had just under 1/4 tank left
